Wirral's newest Big Band was started in 2019 by Jan Modelski, aiming to bring local musicians together to play all things jazz, swing, soul and pop in a Big Band style. Having survived an early enforced break due to COVID, the band is back in a big way - growing in size and reputation - and have enjoyed numerous successful gigs at a variety of local venues, often joined by their friends at Wirral Pop Orchestra.

WBB are currently recruiting and welcome new members of all Big Band instrument groups - including vocalists - to join with no audition necessary.
